I haven't really written here in a long time. Hopefully writing motivates me to train harder and regularly for my tri, I will write only when I do some kind of triathlon training. Hopefully reading this fun and interesting, it may get a little introspective at times, I will ask big worldly questions like - "What the hell am I doing awake at 6 am in the morning running while everyone I know is asleep!" That actually was the question I had yesterday. I will definitely be writing about my frustrations, trials and tribulations when it comes to triathlon training.
Days left till NYC Triathlon: 93
Activity: Spinning Class at Gym
The weather has gotten much better in New York. I should be taking my bike out for a ride but I have not had the time to get it out of storage (bad me!) I Have to get it out before Saturday for my group ride with Team In Training.
Spinning class was a disaster. Let me have you know, I've been to spinning many many times in my life. Today though due to an insane work day I did not eat any lunch. I got home and downed a yummy smoothie an hour before class. 30 minutes into spinning I got a cramp in my left calf and did not know what to do, I couldn't stop moving because it would hurt like hell. Finally I stopped got off my stationary bike and hobbled out of class jut as everyone was reaching their peak. My husband told me the lack of food made me cramp up. Well thank god I was not on my "real" moving bike, beacuse I would have definetely fallen off. Lesson learnt must eat then work out, I guess a child would know that. Oh well 92 days to go - wish me luck!
